Hello! My username is melancorvid, but you can call me Mel or Corvid for short. I also respond to other names depending on where you find me.
I am an amateur programmer and have a particular interest in game development and modding. I spend most of my time doing nerdy things; you'll most likely find me playing video games, reading random topics, or hanging out with friends.
about the site
This website is mostly maintained as a hobby. Currently, this site functions as an extended bio, but I plan to showcase future projects here. As of now, though, I have little to show because I don't create much content.
I started this site alongside friends to learn web development and web design. This site is always subject to change, and while I do not have concrete plans for future updates, I hope to improve the site as time progresses.

What do you use for your work?
I use IntelliJ IDEA for Java, Visual Studio 2022 for C++ and C#, and Visual Studio Code with the Live Server extension for HTML/CSS.
Any specific interests?
✦ My favorite games: Roguelikes and sandboxes. I recommend The Binding of Isaac, The Void Rains Upon Her Heart, and Rabbit and Steel for roguelikes. I also have a soft spot for MMORPGs, but I only play FINAL FANTASY XIV nowadays.
✦ My favorite music: Rock and metal, especially progressive metal, but I listen to many other genres. Polyphia, Periphery, and Sleep Token are my current favorite bands.
✦ My favorite colors: Greens and blues.
✦ Miscellaneous: Botany, zoology, astronomy, and psychology.
